This pack came out of my need to carry avalanche safety equipment while ice climbing where I realized there isn’t a climbing specific avalanche pack, just ski packs with lots of bells and whistles for skiing or climbing packs with no safety gear organization. The Tuk is designed to split the difference and works great for alpine ice missions or as a light touring pack. This pack went on to be a production model for Mindset Packs.
